Ben Eley, Senior Associate

Ben Eley has been fundraising for Democratic candidates and progressive organizations for over 12 years. His extensive experience includes consulting and managing state-wide, congressional, and presidential fundraising campaigns. While his personal donor relationships extend across the country, Mr. Eley is regarded as the premier Southeast Regional Fundraiser having built his most significant network of donor relationships in the Southeast.

Prior to joining the Ashmead Group Mr. Eley founded Eley Fundraising, a fundraising consulting firm based out of Miami, Florida. His extensive client list included Bill Bradley for President, Al Gore for President, Joe Lieberman for President, Wesley Clark for President, and Chris Dodd for President. In addition to his presidential and state legislative clients, Mr. Eley served as the state-wide Finance Consultant for Janet Reno for Governor of Florida, Finance Director for David Poythress for Governor of Georgia, and South Florida Finance Director for Rod Smith for Governor of Florida, and Planned Parenthood of Florida.

Throughout his career, Mr. Eley has focused on ensuring his clients get results. He lives with his wife, Yasmin and their son Tyler in South Florida.
